Ice & Snow - Williamston

Saturday night, we had an ice storm. Some of the ice melted during the day, but most of it is still on the trees. Last night, we had snow. The snow changed the look of the ice covered flora. It went from crystal to white. See what you think.
You can see the snow on top of the ice
A closer look
These arctic willows were standing yesterday
This burning bush is even closer to the ground today
The ice and snow are obvious on the maple, but barely noticeable on the evergreen
The snow and ice are not as noticeable here
Further out, they look like snow trees
Plenty of ice on these branches
The next three were taken at a park near Haslett
You can see the snow falling
The last photos are from a different perspective; the widow's walk on the front of the house
You can see where the limb broke off of this tree
Curly ice
Looking down the street
This is one of my favorites
This is not a weeping willow. Many of the trees are weeping because of the ice
One more icy tree
Thanks for stopping by.
